Sales Advisor

Who are we?

The Insurance Surgery is a leading life insurance specialist for people with pre-existing medical conditions, high-risk occupations and those taking part in extreme sports. All our team are passionate about helping people with pre-existing conditions to ensure they obtain cost effective life insurance with as minimal barriers as possible. We are recognised as a vibrant business within the industry that we work in and have an outstanding reputation as a leading specialist in the market.

Why are we recruiting?

We are currently working on ambitious growth plans to service the sustainable demand we are currently seeing coming into the business. We are looking for dynamic and driven sales advisors to join us in these exciting times!

 

Remuneration:

The role is £18,000 basic and we expect our sales advisors to reach a realistic £35,000 OTE per annum.

 

The Role:

The sales advisor role begins once a customer has completed an enquiry with us online (all hot leads, no cold calling here!). The initial fact find call is incredibly important, not only is it used to acquire accurate information from our valued customers, but it also allows our sales advisors to introduce themselves as the customers own personal advisor through the journey. In-between new customer calls, you will be dealing with your existing pipeline, ringing up our providers for underwriting decisions and contributing to the business growth plans with inspiring ideas!

 

Hours:

In order to give our customers the best possible service (i.e. when it suits them), we operate between 10.45am-8pm (Mon-Thurs) and 10am-3pm (Friday). Unlike many other contact centres, we do not work weekends, unless our sales advisors wish to and if that’s the case we will offer them an increased rate of overtime payment.

Experience we are looking for:

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a strong sales background who works with a high degree of accuracy/attention to detail and strives to deliver exceptional sales numbers. Financial services experience is not required, full training will be given.

Positive, passionate, caring, driven and motivated individuals. We want people who are as obsessed about helping customers as we are!

Sales Support Advisor

Remuneration:

The role is £18,000 basic and we expect our sales support staff to reach a realistic £20,000 OTE per annum.

 

The Role:

The sales support role is incredibly varied from one day to the next. The role deals with a number of different tasks including allocating leads to sales partners, qualifying customer leads over the phone, full ownership of our live chat software, all social media correspondence within the business, building new enquiries on our in house CRM system, chasing up outstanding GP reports, etc. On top of all this, we encourage our Sales Support team to constantly think of ways we can do things better and call on them to help the business give our customers an even better experience!

 

Hours:

The sales support role is predominantly administration based, so we work 8.30am-5pm (Mon-Fri). Unlike many other contact centres, we do not work weekends, unless our sales support staff wish to and if that’s the case we will offer them an increased rate of overtime payment.
